The International Wine Challenge is held annually by Wine Magazine. It compares wines from all over the world and is claimed to be the world's largest blind tasting. No account is taken of price in the judging, only quality with high priced wines being judged alongside and against low priced ones.
The IWC’s 400 plus judges, including 20 newly appointed expert Panel Chairmen, spent 2 weeks intensively tasting wines from 40 different countries. Each wine was given the time and thought it deserved to guarantee results of the highest standard. The final analysis from 5 Co-Chairmen ensured that only the best wines succeeded.
