Since moving back to Kris’s home country of New Zealand in 1998 from Africa via UK, Andy and Kris Bibby have been involved in the vineyard industry in Marlborough both directly and indirectly. After growing the turnover of a tractor dealership they owned to record heights, they sold the business to focus on their own vineyard. In 2009 the decision was made to build their own small winery, and Andy set about ordering fermentation tanks, wine tanks, and all the paraphernalia that goes with wine-making. Wine-maker Allen Hedgman was recommended by an acquaintance vineyard owner and wine-maker, and they began the intensive and exciting process of crafting wine. Allen has worked with Andy & Kris with an enthusiasm that is infectious, closely consulting with Andy and Kris every step of the way from the vineyard to the bottle.

Sauvignon Blanc: A blend of fruit from carefully selected growers in the Southern Wairau Valley within a 5km radius of the family vineyard. An exceptionally aromatic wine, with passion fruit, guava and melon on the nose and rich and opulent on the palate.

Pinot Noir: From a single vineyard, matured in french oak barrels. A traditional bright ruby colour, medium bodied with ripe cherry, kirsch and plums on the nose, well integrated tannins and balanced acidity.
