Maven Wines is an exciting new venture based in the heart of Marlborough's Rapaura area. Maven has achieved critical acclaim in the UK, Europe and Australasia since its launch in 2005 both for its wines and for its innovative brand based around artistic photos of the Marlborough region.

Our Cravens Road vineyard occupies an extremely picturesque site backed by the Richmond Range, with the Wairau River just 200m from the vines. Cravens Creek winds through the vineyard and is an obvious feature. One characteristic is its relative uniformity: its deep silt loam soils, with moderate to high fertility and good water-holding capacity, promote greater consistency in fruit development and maturation.

Maven Wines produces Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Merlot.

Maven’s 2007 Sauvignon Blanc won a gold medal at the May 2008 International Wine Challenge in London.
