Melton Estate is a vineyard café and event venue set on a 12 acre vineyard located in West Melton (to west of Christchurch City off SH1 South and SH73 West). Melton Estate is a 20 minute drive from the Christchurch CBD, and only 10 minutes from the airport.

At Melton Estate we serve great food that is matched to our handcrafted boutique wines. Visitors can sample local wines that include: Pinot Noir, Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and new Sparkling Riesling known as “Summer Love”. Wine tasting amongst the vines is a great way to learn more about New Zealand wines.

The Vineyard Café has an extensive menu including platters, salads and main meals such as lamb rack. A range of tasty desserts are available. A children’s menu is available.

Melton Estate features a new dining area, an expansive deck overlooking the vines and is surrounded by lawns making it a great place for the whole family.

We are open on Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm, and at other times by arrangement.
