Trinity Hill is a partnership between John Hancock, a well known New Zealand winemaker and wine judge, and Robert and Robyn Wilson (owners of London's Bleeding Heart and The Sign of the Don restaurants) and Trevor and Hanne Janes. Trinity Hill has established a solid reputation for high quality Chardonnay, Merlot and Syrah wines. Proof of this is that Trinity Hill Wines are featured on the menus of some of the world's top restaurants including London's elite Ramsay's restaurant and Melbourne's Circa restaurant. Assistant winemaker, Warren Gibson, was named New Zealand Winemaker of the Year, in 2005, by Australian Wine Estate magazine. At the time of writing, Trinity Hill wines had won 5 Trophies, 18 Gold Medals or equivalent 5 Star ratings, 35 Silver medals (or 4 and 4 1/2 Star ratings) and 41 Bronzes (3 star ratings) in New Zealand and International wine shows and magazines. Trinity Hill is open for wine tasting seven days a week from 10am to 5pm over summer, and from 11am to 4pm over winter. Trinity Hill wines are available direct from the winery, by internet, from most wine shops and are exported to most parts of the world including North America, Europe, Israel, the United Kingdom and Australia.
