Gary Voss & Annette Atkins’ wine producing philosophy has been to establish the brand name, “Voss Estate”, at the premium high quality end of the local and global wine market.

Voss wines are now receiving top awards and ratings around the world. They regularly score 90 + from the top wine publications in the USA, make the “best of” lists and score 4 to 5 stars in blind tastings. Winning a Gold Medal at the recent International Wine Challenge in London for their Pinot Noir 2006 further reinforced their place as serious wine producers.

Their highly focused approach to sustainable wine growing is very much hands-on, all in the quest for excellence.

Voss Estate Vineyard, Martinborough, New Zealand, was established 22 years ago (in 1986) by husband and wife team, Annette Atkins & Gary Voss. In true family style, Gary’s family helped to plant the vineyard in 1988. Gary and Annette have been producing premium, award winning wines full of character since 1991 and continue to work together on every stage of wine production, from managing the vineyards through to making and marketing the wines.

Mail order is the best way to source their wines as they no longer open for cellar door tastings and sales in Martinborough. Voss wines are available at the Martinborough Wine Centre (who often have tastings) or at any of the retail shops in town. And of course, at selected retailers throughout New Zealand.
