The Maude Pinot Noir is a masterful blend of fruit from five distinct sub-regions within Central Otago, each adding its own nuance to this exceptional wine. Crafted using traditional methods, including open-topped fermentation, hand plunging, and indigenous yeasts, this Pinot Noir reflects an artisanal approach to winemaking. With a portion of whole bunches in each fermenter for added complexity, extended skin contact for tannin development, and maturation in French oak barriques for 10 months, this wine is a true representation of Central Otago’s terroir.
