Overview:
From the hills of Lantignié in Beaujolais, the Domaine Dubost Beaujolais-Lantignié Chardonnay offers a beautifully expressive take on this classic varietal. Harvested from 20-year-old vines rooted in clay-silty soils, and aged for six months in barrel, it combines purity of fruit with subtle depth and structure. Winemaker Jean-Paul Dubost has captured the charm of Beaujolais terroir while delivering the layered complexity of a fine Bourgogne Chardonnay at exceptional value.
Tasting Notes:
Pale gold with delicate straw reflections, this Chardonnay opens with fine floral aromas of acacia, honeysuckle and broom, lifted by citrus brightness. The palate is round yet fresh, with notes of ripe apple, lemon zest and a gentle mineral thread, supported by supple structure and a long, elegant finish. Crisp, lively and wonderfully balanced, it is best enjoyed alongside sole meunière, crab salad or creamy poultry dishes.
