The Patch Wines Roussanne is a beautifully textured white, crafted from carefully tended fruit and made with minimal intervention. A collaboration between winemakers Kirilly Gordon and Matt Talbot, Patch Wines celebrates small parcels of fruit transformed with precision and creativity. This Roussanne is generous, aromatic and distinctive, offering both freshness and complexity.
Tasting Notes:
The bouquet is expressive with floral notes of jasmine and chamomile tea, followed by layers of ripe stone fruit. The palate is rich yet balanced, with flavours of peach and apricot leading into a bright nutty finish of almond and marzipan. Full malolactic fermentation and maturation in old oak add depth and softness while maintaining vibrancy. Best enjoyed chilled, it pairs beautifully with roast chicken, creamy pasta or soft white cheeses.
