Tasting Notes:
The bouquet opens with fresh plums and cherry blossom, gradually evolving to reveal warmer notes of vanilla and leather. On the palate, the wine is calm and subtle at first, before bright acidity draws it inward, building towards a finish of finely-spread tannins, fruit and oak. Complex and quietly expressive, it is best enjoyed with dishes such as duck breast, roasted mushroom risotto or soft-rind cheeses, where its layers can be fully appreciated.
