Overview:
Greywacke Wild Sauvignon Archive Release 2016 offers a rich, textural expression of Marlborough sauvignon blanc, fermented entirely with wild yeast to create an alternative and complex style that has matured beautifully with time in bottle.
Tasting Notes:
A fragrant bouquet of shortbread, quince, apricot, lemon zest and ginger, intertwined with honeysuckle, vanilla bean, tarragon-like herbs and a faint whiff of wood smoke. The palate is intricate and succulent, layered with ripe fruit and Asian spice, finishing long, crisp and flinty with a savoury dryness.
