Overview:
Aragonesas Coto de Hayas Garnacha Centenaria is a remarkable expression of Garnacha, hand-harvested from ancient vineyards planted in traditional single vineyard sites, “Monte Alto” and “La Sarda”. These vineyards, located on arid slate soils at the base of the Iberian Mountain Range, offer optimal conditions for producing a wine of exceptional depth and complexity. After cold maceration and a controlled fermentation, the wine is aged for 4 months in new French oak barrels, ensuring a perfect balance of fruit intensity and subtle oak influence.
Tasting Notes:
This Garnacha reveals a deep ruby-red colour with stunning clarity and brightness. The nose is powerful and expressive, with high-intensity aromas of ripe fruit and floral notes, complemented by fine hints of toasted oak and spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and harmonious, offering a smooth, well-rounded texture and a perfectly balanced flavour profile. The finish is long and lingering, leaving a refined aftertaste that showcases its complexity and the skillful integration of oak.
