Cable Bay Vineyards Chardonnay Rocky Vineyard 2021 is a single-vineyard expression of tension, depth and complexity from the Awatere Valley. A vibrant and finely structured Chardonnay, it reflects the river stones and fossilised shells of its terroir with precision, elegance, and minerality.
Tasting Notes:
Enticing aromas of lemon tart, poached pears, cinnamon quill and delicate flinty smoke unfold on the nose. The palate is silky yet vibrant, layered with citrus, peach and mineral notes. Malolactic fermentation brings creaminess and a moreish quality, balanced by bright acidity, fine phenolic structure and a long, focused finish.
