This is our gateway Pinot Noir produced from fruit grown at selected vineyards in the local Wairarapa region. The wine is matured in two to five year old French oak barrels for 12 months.
Rich in colour, this Pinot shows brambly fruit intensity and forest floor notes on the nose. The palate is fruit-forward in the wine’s youth, with savoury notes of porcini, autumnal wood smoke and earthy notes developing as the wine opens up. A wine that over-delivers now, and will keep developing in its more subtle nuances and complexity as it matures over the next five years.
