Overview
The Settlement Heritage Sauvignon Blanc is a classic expression of Marlborough, sourced from the organically certified Heritage Vineyard in the Wairau Valley. Planted in the early 1990s on silty clay loams shaped by historic flooding, this site consistently delivers wines of purity and intensity. The 2024 vintage, defined by a record dry summer and naturally moderated yields, has produced fruit of exceptional ripeness and balance, resulting in a Sauvignon Blanc of precision, vibrancy and varietal definition.
Tasting Notes
Aromatic and expressive, the wine opens with lifted guava, tropical fruit and citrus zest. The palate is layered with grapefruit and lime, balanced by subtle richness and concentration that reflect the vintage. Bright acidity provides structure and length, carrying the flavours through to a long, refreshing finish. A benchmark Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, it is delicious on its own and pairs beautifully with fresh seafood, goat’s cheese or summer salads.
