Smith & Sheth CRU Omahu Syrah 2020 is a powerful yet refined expression of Gimblett Gravels terroir. Dense and brooding in character, it opens with intoxicating aromas of blackberry, cocoa, minerals and sandalwood. The palate is rich and layered, brimming with dark fruits, spice and savoury undertones, supported by fine oak and a gravelly structure. With depth, sophistication and superb cellaring potential, this Syrah is both compelling and elegant.

Tasting Notes:

Deep black cherry in colour, this wine reveals blackberry, cocoa, mineral and sandalwood aromas alongside hints of iodine and spice. The palate is concentrated and bold, delivering black fruit, blueberry, vanilla and cedar flavours. Plush and seamless with mouthcoating tannins, it concludes with a long, savoury finish marked by the distinctive gravelly minerality of the Gimblett Gravels.
