Overview
The Tettonica Wines Chardonnay is a bright and textural Marlborough white, crafted with organic fruit and minimal intervention to let the vineyard character shine. Hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed, it underwent a slow natural ferment in old French oak, followed by malolactic fermentation and maturation on full lees, giving the wine remarkable depth and finesse.
Tasting Notes
The bouquet is fresh and vibrant, with aromas of lemon, lime, nashi pear, pineapple and delicate white peach. The palate is medium bodied, combining creamy texture with a lively thread of acidity for balance and drive. Flavours of mandarin and preserved lemon unfold with complexity, supported by a layered, nuanced mouthfeel that reflects its organic origins. Textural and pure, this Chardonnay is delicious now but will reward cellaring. Pair with roast chicken, grilled seafood or creamy vegetarian dishes.
