The Darling Pinot Noir is an elegant and finely crafted expression of Marlborough, produced with a minimal intervention philosophy that allows the vineyard to speak clearly. Hand-picked, de-stemmed and wild fermented in concrete before ageing in old oak, it showcases purity, texture and poise in equal measure.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of rosehip, cherry and plum mingle with gentle spice and earthy undertones. The palate is supple and fleshy, led by pristine red fruits layered over fine, silky tannins and a thread of fresh acidity. Smooth, savoury and beautifully balanced, it finishes with elegance and length. A refined Pinot Noir that pairs effortlessly with duck, venison or wild mushroom risotto, while also rewarding cellaring.
