The Windrush Organic Syrah is a rare and limited release, crafted from just 80 vines planted at the Terrace Stone Vineyard in Renwick. With its unique microclimate and stony soils, this site produces fruit of exceptional character and depth. A blend of the outstanding 2022 and 2023 vintages, this wine captures both the richness of a warm Marlborough summer and the finesse of careful, small-scale winemaking.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of omega plum, blackberry and baking spice are lifted by a floral elegance. The palate is layered with dark berry, redcurrant and cranberry, woven with hints of liquorice, tobacco and leather. Refined tannins and balanced acidity create poise, leading to a long and complex finish. Distinctive and expressive, this Syrah is perfect with grilled lamb, venison or slow-braised dishes.
